What we collect

When you unlock the answer checker or join the list, we store your email address, the date and time, which page you signed up on, and the exact wording you agreed to. We also store a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address so we can limit guesses and stop abuse. We record which puzzles you have solved. We do not store the answers you type.

Why

To let you check puzzle answers, and to email you about new Red Herring Puzzles books and launches. We don’t sell your information.

This site and its database run on Cloudflare.

Unsubscribe or delete

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To have your information deleted, email hello@redherringpuzzles.com.
